Aerith nodded as she went to the center of the gazebo.  ”It’s one of my favorite places in town.  Not that many people find it, which is nice.  It’s like my own little secret.  Which isn’t a secret, since I showed you.”  She laughed softly, as she looked around the gazebo.  She spun around, her dress and hair flowing around her.  Just being here always lifted her mood.  Her mood rarely drops, but when it does, she knows to come here to brighten up her day.  She turned to Zack, who was staring at her.  The brunette let out a small giggle. “I know the gazebo looks amazing, but you should come inside it with me.” With that said, she took Zack’s hand and pulled him gently inside the gazebo with her.  

Zack watched Aerith as she walked to the gazebo, listening to her words intently. A smile came across his face when she told him he was now in possession of her little secret. He was going to say something but once she started spinning around he lost his train of thought, once again disoriented by her beauty. He had to snap out of the stare he had fixated on her when she spoke to him again and pulled him inside the gazebo with her, just smiling back at her happily.

Aerith felt instantly warm when she felt his jacket wrap around her shoulders.  She looked up at the taller man, getting comfortable in his jacket.  She was really grateful for the jacket, he really is a gentleman.  The brunette let out a light laugh at his joke.  ”T-Thank you for the jacket.  Don’t worry we’re almost there.”  She motioned towards the next opening in the maze.  Once they walked through it, they were face to face with a white gazebo with twinkling lights wrapped around it.  There were an assortment of flowers surrounding the white gazebo.  Aerith smiled at the sight, a place she is all too familiar with.  ”Surprise.”

Smiling down at Aerith he also wrapped an arm around her as they made their way farther into the maze. He wanted to crack some sort of joke about dancing around and “heating up” the situation so that they wouldn’t freeze but that would clash so bad with the gentlemanly approach he was trying to take to the rest of this date. When they finally reached the surprise she had told him about he gazed at it with wide eyes. The little gazebo and it’s surroundings left Zack in awe. He now saw why Aerith had called this a surprise. “This is amazing, Aerith. I never would have imagined something like this.”

Aerith looked back to Zack when he stopped.  She started to shiver more from the cold.  ”Y-yes we are.  S-Sorry, it’s kind of cold out here.  I forgot to bring a jacket.”  She lightly tugged on his hand, leading him towards the center of the maze.  Another breeze passed by them.  She let go of Zack’s hand and used her hands to warm up her arms.  She was scolding herself for not bringing a jacket in the first place.  ”A-Almost there.”  

As they continued to make their way through the maze Zack became more and more worried about Aerith getting sick due to the cold. When she finally let go of his hand to warm up her arms he decided he had let this go on long enough and took off his suit jacket and wrapped it around her shoulders. “Here, you need this more than I do. Now then…let’s get to this surprise before one of us turns into an ice cube, eh?”

I’ll write up a little Zack drabble tomorrow since he doesn’t have any yet…if not tomorrow it will happen in the next few days.

Aerith immediately recognized the tune and blushed excessively.  It was the tune to the song Zack was dancing to.  Her thoughts started to trail back to her date stripping and dancing.  She blushed more, putting her free hand over her mouth to suppress a shriek.  ”I-I’ve never heard of the song before tonight.  I-It looks like I won’t forget it now.”  She gave him a nervous laugh, her cheeks bright pink from blushing so much.  It was getting cold, a breeze went by causing Aerith to shiver slightly.  She tightened her grip on Zack’s hand, which was the only source of heat she could find.  

Zack was slightly surprised to learn that she had never heard Gangnam Style. It was a rather ridiculously popular song now days but he loved it, especially when he got to dance to it like he had earlier. When he noticed Aerith blushing madly and the nervous laugh she gave him he chuckled a bit himself. But when she tightened her grip on his hand he stopped and looked at their hands, slightly blushing himself. “So uh…are we close to that surprise yet?” he asked.

Headcanon: Zack really likes both techno and dubstep style music.
